As part of her PhD, Heather is currently working on her novel Curdled Milk, which is a phenomenological exploration of motherhood and mothering through a creative-critical format. The novel examines the intersections of class, psychogeography, trauma and child loss, aided by her inclusion of extra-textual media. That said, Heather enjoys writing across the literary spectrum; she particularly enjoys writing fantasy and science fiction, as well as literary fiction.
Heather also writes poetry. A comprehensive list of her publications can be found here.
Here’s a sneak peek from her (now shelved and unpublished) novel Wordless, which follows an assortment of characters across a merciless world.
